About the Vallone Law Firm
Jim Vallone started his own law practice soon after finishing law school in the early 1980s, focusing on representing clients charged with criminal offenses through the Erie County Bar Association’s Assigned Counsel Program. Later, Jim developed relationships with a very busy team of realtors, and so began expanding his practice into residential real estate. He continued to nurture and develop the relationships with local realtors, lenders, and other real estate professionals, which led to being retained to represent many local lenders in mortgage closings and refinances.
In the mid-1990s, Jim was chosen to represent the members of the New York State Teamsters Legal Benefit Plan, and the Vallone Law Firm continues to service those clients to this day. Representing the Teamsters led to Jim handling many new and different types of cases, from traffic matters, small claims cases, drafting wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies, and matrimonial and family court litigation.
In 2007, Jim’s son, Eric, was sworn in as an attorney, and soon after began working in Jim’s office. Eric started handing real estate matters, vehicle and traffic matters, criminal cases, and wills and estate planning. In 2009, Jim and Eric formed The Vallone Law Firm to enable them to better service their existing and future clients.
Since then, The Vallone Law Firm has greatly expanded its real estate, estate planning, and criminal law and DWI defense practices. Their experience with a wide range of legal matters allows them to recognize issues that other attorneys may miss, and their small size enables them to give clients the individual attention that they deserve.
